During July and August we offer a range of General English courses together with a full social programme that includes a full day excursion and a half day excursion. These courses are open to students aged 16 or above. Please note: We cannot provide accommodation for students aged under 18 years old. Students aged 16-18 are recommended to stay with relatives or close family friends who can be responsible for them and look after them for the whole period of their stay. Half Day Excursion |
|
Typical Half Day excursions include, bowling, going to the cinema, visiting one of the many museums around Manchester, going to Old Trafford for a tour of the stadium and museum and visiting traditional English stately homes and parks.
For the Full Day excursions you will have the opportunity to see a number of cities, providing a cross section of what Britain has to offer. Examples include the traditional seaside town of Southport, York - a beautiful Viking city, two areas of outstanding natural beauty, the Peak District and the Lake District and Liverpool - home of the Beatles.
The school also runs a year round social programme and events include quizzes and workshops at the school, sports afternoons in the park, trips to the IMAX cinema and going for coffee in the city centre.
