Course Outline
- This course is for students who want to study for a long time in the UK.
- There is the chance to take a Cambridge or IELTS* exam at the end of the course.
- It is also suitable for students who plan on studying at university in the UK and need the skills to succeed in an English-speaking educational environment.
- Students can start in September or January (see dates below)
Course Structure
- Students can study for 12, 24 or 36 weeks.
- Students study General English in the morning for 15 hours a week. This allows student to focus on improving all aspects of their English, including vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
- In the afternoon students study from Monday to Thursday for 2.5 hours a day. The afternoon classes include English for Academic Purposes, exam preparation and work on the four skills of writing, reading, speaking and listening.
- Communication Skills practice to enable students to cope with everyday life.
- Speaking skills for discussing and debating a wide range of social and economic issues.
- Pronunciation practice to ensure students are understood.
- Vocabulary expansion on a range of topics including academic and everyday situations.
- Listening activities based on real-life situations.
- Reading tasks of a variety of texts including newspapers, academic articles and stories.
- Writing exercises aimed at improving accuracy.
- Academic writing task such as essays and reports.
- Grammar points relevant to the level of your study.

N.B. * If there is enough demand for either a Cambridge or the IELTS exam
** The start dates are flexible and intended as a guide. Students CAN start after the 17th September and 7th January.
